Breathing new life into the rotting flesh of Hungarian pop music history, the Breakcsokkers - Vince Varga , Kanada Kaosz, Suhaid and Shuriken - are on a mission to dig up forgotten vinyl records from rural fleamarkets, suburban garages and the haunted concrete basements of Socialist housing projects. Their work connects the Bermuda triangles of the wierd-wild-and-wobbly and the failed-fuzzed-and-formidable: from 1960s bossas, cha-chas and twists to freakbeat, psych, glam and beyond. If they take control, hippie guitars roar again, russian style estrad pop burns hole in the speakers while cheap casio synth rhythms make Cunami sized new waves.
