Lützenkirchen live

Lützenkirchen live (DE)

Tobias Lützenkirchen is not an unknown to those clubbers and DJs who are up-to-date with current developments. With a huge string of successful tunes under his belt, he has been the one to watch for the last three years. Responsible for huge club hits such as the phenomenal “Daily Disco”--his first ever release on Great Stuff. “Daily Disco” mutated into a huge hit and got included on many compilations. Almost all of his productions instantly mutate into burners. Not only producing as Lützenkirchen (or Lutzenkirchen) but under many different guises and in groups such as LXR, LK-Pro, Elektroluxx, Bully Boys, Mike Litt, L.Y.T.Z., and the Electronauts, his name also ap¬pears in the credits of countless other releases.

In 2008, only three years after his move to Munich, he has finally hit the top--something he has always dreamed of: “Not to be ‘one’ producer, but ‘the’ producer”.His single “Paperboy” which pre-empted the “3 Tage Wach” release, leaves people gob-sma¬cked--like most of his records. Be it melodic mini-maximal “A View To The Sea” or “Storm Chaser”--just a few out of the long list of tracks that all sound amazing--he’s never shy to employ new ideas, his sound elegantly fusing the most compelling ele¬ments of techno, progressive, trance and house. Avoiding being pidgeon-holed, it seems like he’s enjoying the challenge to con¬stantly reinvent himself while bringing his unmistakable trade¬mark sound to perfection.

Graced with a great sense for harmonics and groove, Lütze, son of a Cuban and a German, manages to produce tracks that do not only stand out because of their great quality but also because of their nature, uniting bombastic moments with the spirit of the underground. He set up his very own label Platform B to offer him and his raving producer friends an outlet. Does this guy ever sleep? No. To top it all off, he is DJing all around the globe, ra¬ving in front and behind the turntables. Having it large.
