Sunday Fury

Sunday Fury (HU)

fter the album 'First' in 2007 and last years 'Wasted Time' EP the band from Vác released their second album. A few bands where the members came from in 2005: Sedative Bang, Penalty Kick, Numb, Incubus Cover Band – no changes in lineup since. They played with Trouble and Down/VoiVod as well.

The last years EP was some kind of an album preview since there are many songs on this album is from it. The CD starts with an intro and one minute later they start the first song. We can expect music built on Down/Pantera/CoC elements from them and they perform well in the various genres. The sound is much better than the first album, the mixing and mastering was made in Bakery Studios.

Generally there are 4-5 minutes long tracks on the CD (there is a 9 minutes long tough) they sum up to 60 minutes, it's not that long, there are many bridges. We don't have to take those too seriously (6., 8., 11., 15.), I don't like them that much and feel them unnecessary. There are session musicians as well, Makó Dávid (ex-Stereochrist, HAW) plays in “Fool Me”, Vörös Attila (Remembering the Steel) plays on guitar in “Pride of Mankind” which can be heard on the band's myspace with “Rollercoaster” and “Conflagration”. There is a bonus track on the cd which is a Beatles' “Helter Skelter” cover.
The songs are colorful, seems they put a lot of work in them, they are not boring, the voice of the singer, Márkus Levente, fits quite well into them.

Line up:
Márkus Levente-guitar/vocals
Urbán Tamás bassguitar/vocals
Kis Gergely-drums
Herczeg László-guitar
