Yava mixes the strongest folk, ethno, shamanistic music elements with those of the hardest punk, metal and rock, to end up in a thrilling mix of worlds made up by musicians of great fame.

The ex bass guitarist of the once world famous Hungarian ethno-punk band Vágtázó Halottkémek Mestyán Ádám founded this formation with Dus Polette, and their two rich personalities - former coming from the strongest shamanistic underground improvised rock, while the latter from street theatre to Gamelan theatre - form the pole points between which this uniquely rich music world derives from and integrates all into itself, to present a colourful and powerful mix of new sound.
