Before the Comets there was no one, and who followed were only copies. The Comets were the first, that went on tour around the world. They were the first to appear on international charts with their own songs, and first to found a label. They were the first white musicians, who toured together with black musicians. They were the first to invite a young talent on their gigs as a support act. The name of this young talent was Elvis Presley in the year 1955. And the Comets were the first to sell over one million copies of a record.
