AB presents: Conversation with Paul Griffiths, compiler of Sun Ra?s Ultimate Singles Collection (UK)

One hundred years after the release of the first jazz album, A38 Ship honors a special program for the genre and its legend Sun Ra. Paul Griffiths arrives in Budapest with Ancienne Belgique and Újbuda Jazz Festival! The highly respected British music journalist has been working for many years on the composition of Herman Poole titled 'Sonny Blount' of the cosmic jazz legend' seven inches of vynils The Definitive 45s Collection, released at Strut Records, is a perfect introduction to the less well-known side of the iconic art. These and many more will be discussed with him by Balázs Pándi, music partner of Keiji Haino, Thurston Moore and Peter Brötzmann, an indispensable figure of domestic and international jazz. The round table discussion will be streamed live through the A38 Free channel.
