Dance With The Dead takes you on a journey through time
It's like listening to sci-fi and action movies from the 60s, 70s and 80s: Dance With The Dead will take all synthwave fans back in time with their analogue synths and guitars on 22nd June at A38 Ship.
The duo of Justin Pointer and Tony Kim released their debut album Out of Body in 2013, which was enthusiastically received by fans of metal, synthwave and EDM alike. The debut was followed by the dark melodies of the Into the Abyss EP, and then the Near Dark album with hits like Andromeda and Invader, which forever etched their way into the hearts of genre lovers. The American duo saw the time as the perfect time to leave the studio and start touring: they played their first show in Los Angeles in 2015, and then, after a taste of the new wave, they hit the road in the autumn to tour Europe.
A year later, they were touring the old continent with their album The Shape, and their first show in Budapest was in 2018, with the Loved to Death tour. The band last visited us last year with Driven to Madness, and on 22nd June they'll be back with a reprise: Dance With The Dead will make everyone dance again at A38 Ship.
