Deva

Дeva is the DIY project of Dorina Takács. Music has always played a huge role in the life of this 24-year-old artist. She writes, produces and sings her own songs, and designs the album covers herself. Her unique sound guides the listener through an ancient land – atmospherically soft sounds, spiced with the magical lyrics of Hungarian folk songs.

lúpina (IS)

The Icelandic artist, songwriter and producer lúpína embarked on her solo journey by releasing her dreamy Icelandic synth pop single ‘alein’ in autumn 2022. Since then, she has captivated audiences with her singles and her debut album 'ringluð', in early 2023, which will soon be followed by her upcoming sophomore album 'marglytta' or “jellyfish” in English. The album includes complex layers of synths, soundscapes and captivating lyrics. Marglytta is an ode to herself, allowing people to see through her and her emotions - just like a jellyfish. Lúpína's music is a fusion of Icelandic lyric-focused Scandi pop, where she explores the boundaries of pop music, blending different genres seamlessly. She brings a fresh perspective to Icelandic music, infusing it with global appeal while staying true to her roots. As she continues to evolve as an artist, her music promises to leave an indelible mark on the local and international music scene.

Дeva

Deva is the DIY solo project of Budapest-based Takcs Dorina. Music has always played a huge role in the life of the 24-year-old performer: after theatrical plays, choirs, and orchestras, she now felt it was time to start her own solo career. She writes, produces and sings her songs, and even makes the album cover. In her name, , like Dorina, symbolizes the performer, and Eva is the first woman on Earth. While in some cultures deva meant good itself, others identified the word with devilish beings.

Her debut single was released on Balzs Zsger's new label, Move Gently Records. 777 guides us to an ancient land. The atmospheric soft sounds, the silky pulsating bassline and the polyphonic mantras are spiced with the magical lyrics of Hungarian folk songs. The second single Deva has just been released plays in the days of AHyacyntha in the valley of the labyrinth of the soul, where it burns all violets. Those who come here usually linger here a lot, and stay for a while even when they can already smell their cold-scorched skin.

Single titled Fa lenni (Being a Tree) is the first harbinger of the Deva debut album to be released in January. A mystical video has also been made for the song, which will be released with the new song. This concert is also Deva's year-end Christmas concert, so you can expect a real festive atmosphere.
