Music by the Canadian electro-alt-pop duo Elsiane can be defined as being somewhere within the Lamb-Björk-Portishead triangle. The unmistakable voice of Elisieanne Caplette overflows a dark, bumpy electronic bass. Elsiane's clever and sensual music has already been part of the Cirque de Soleil, but the duo is a constant actor for fashion shows and film-music festivals too. The title of their second album is common for their complete work: The Mechanics of Emotion. Elsiane shows the emotions in a unique way, as if it were a complicated structure that was cited by electronics.
