The legendary band from Granada, formed in 1995, was a pioneer of the ‘Mestizo’ movement in Spain, fusing with its particular musical vision styles as diverse as Latin music, Afrobeat, rock, punk, crossover, gypsy, reggae-ska, funk or jazz. Influenced by artists like Fabulosos Cadillacs, Fishbone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Talking Heads or Mano Negra, Eskorzo today is one of the reference bands of a musical fusion at the highest level. Its seven members work like a clock of precision on stage while radiating extraordinary joy and madness. A pump of adrenaline, energy and sweat that leads the audience to a collective catharsis, be it at a rock, jazz or world music festival. With more than a thousand concerts throughout its existence, seven recordings to date and 28 years of musical career, Eskorzo continues to break new ground and is considered one of the most interesting and authentic proposals on the current scene. In November 2023, the group released their seventh studio album entitled "Historias de Amor y otras mierdas" (in English: “Love Stories and Other Shit”) which was presented live throughout 2024 with more than 70 concerts at major festivals and venues throughout Europe. In 2025, Eskorzo will go on a European club tour again to say goodbye to this successful album and to invite the audience to party already with new songs.
