Galaxisok, Laiho

Galaxisok is one of the most circuitous Hungarian bands. They started with a campfire-squealing pol beat, continued with tinkling guitar pop, and then suddenly switched to experimental piano ballads with a hussar cut at the gate of success. Six albums of uncompromising pathfinding, always in the expansion of what was of interest to the band and the former namesake Benedek Szabó. In 2020, burdened by covid, for example, two records were released, and although one (Untitled fifth record) winked in the direction of guitar hits, the following twenty-track double record (Stories from other people's lives) was once again full of hard-to-decipher dreams, from around the world with your cavalcade of style and complete disregard for perceived or real expectations. Supposedly, the next record will be like a Spanish demo from the 80s, and it is also conceivable that, in addition to Ez a nyár, which was released this spring, other novelties will also be heard at the concert. One thing is for sure: don't count on predictability!
