Jerabek LX/XL - Csaba Jerabek from BTK F.O. Through the system to the present day

Bassist-composer-lyricist Csaba Jerabek will revive his forty-year musical career on December 2, on the A38 Haj. The cult F.O. At the jubilee concert named LX/XL, the co-founder of System recalls the main stages of his career at F.O. From System to MASK to recent compositions.

On this evening, Csaba Jerabek invites his colleagues from his four-decade long musical career to a stage, stopping at the most important stages. The cult dark wave icon of the 80s F.O. System (Attila Mátyás, Tomi Földi, György Geletey, Csaba Jerabek), the post-dark rock band MASK of the 90s, and the experimental punk wave formation of the early 80s, BTK, with the participation of Zsolt Szendrey 'Szasza'. If that wasn't enough, a couple of new, unpublished Jerabek musical experiments will also be performed as a surprise.

Csaba Jerabek is an audio-visual creator, co-founder, bassist, co-composer and key member of F.O., founded in 1986. System (Fuck Off System), the now unavoidable monolith of Hungarian dark wave music, which was one of the most popular bands of the underground music life of the 80s. Due to their powerful, somewhat gloomy, psychedelic music and unique lyrics, the group is still very popular today. Although they disbanded in 1991 after the release of their album of the same name, since 2006 we can see them again on stage for a special concert, and since last year they have become increasingly active players in the Hungarian alternative scene. In January 2023, they gave a sold-out concert in the Great Hall of the Akvárium Klub, which was followed by the opening concert of the Dürer Kert Great Hall and then a performance at the Campus festival.

Csaba Jerabek is the F.O. After the breakup of System, in 1991 he founded the group MASK with his fellow musicians (Gabrieli Richárd, György Geletey, György Lakatos), with whom he released two studio albums, MASK (1993) and Őrültek háza (1995), during their active period until 1996.

And at the beginning, BTK was there between 1982 and 1985, whose previously unreleased songs were finally recorded in a studio in 2020 with his fellow musicians (Lujó Molnár, Zoli Vörös, Péter Libertényi, Attila Vörös, Antal Tamási) and released for fans of the era on CD, cassette and in vinyl format.

Now we will be able to go through all these important stations on December 2 at the Jerabek LX/XL concert on the A38 Ship.
