One of the genre’s most liked artists, who boasts a vast number of online followers, Beving composes dreamy, melancholy, minimalist music, with the intention of reaching listeners in the most direct manner – with a universal dialect of music that allows audiences to tune in without specific cultural frames. “It’s incredible to see that an artist can reach people all over the world simply by playing the music that I believe in – music in its purest form,” writes Beving in his artistic credo.
Since his highly successful 2017 concert in Budapest, the Dutch pianist has released two records. The 2018 Conatus, which gives a new thought to former ideas, features several musicians, while the 2019 Henosis marks his return to the solo piano.
This concert of the Budapest Spring Festival is presented by Budapest Festival and Tourism Center as a joint program with A38 Ship.
His concert will be introduced and supported by the solo act by the excellent young Viennese composer Lukas lauermann.
