The Karate band performs on April 23, 2025 on A38!

Karate was founded in Boston in 1993 by Geoff Farina, Eamonn Vitt and Gavin McCarthy, followed by Jeff Goddard as bassist in 1995. Starting from punk roots, the band extended its musical horizon, experimenting with jazz rock, post-rock.

In the fall of 2024 they returned with a new album called "Make It Fit", their first new studio album after 20 years. The album reflects the band's mature, sophisticated music world with a fresh musical approach.
