Khirki is an Athens trio that balances on the border of rock 'n' roll and traditional music. They received their name from the famous wizard of Greek mythology, Kirke, who, with his magic wine, turned Odysseus into animals. Similarly, the band formed a unique "decoction" in which they combine elements from metal and rock culture (cage, mastodon, tool, etc.) with oriental and Balkan melodies, while retaining their raw, compromised heavy character.

Their debut album released in 2021, κτηνωδια, which immediately captured the metal community and received excellent criticisms in the domestic and international press.

In 2024, they returned with their second album, κυκεωνας, which surpassed all expectations and secured Khirki's place on the global metal map.

The event is tangled! As part of the series, it will be supported by the MOL-New Europe Foundation and Liveurope.
