The Kiscsillag band, which defined itself as a hobby garage band when it was founded in 2005, can now be considered as Hungary's unmissable alternative rock band. The songs, which are always guitar-based but incorporate many different stylistic features, the energetic performance, Lovasi's emblematic text world, and the polyphonic vocal themes appearing in the band's last years have made Kiscsillag one of the most characteristic, unique-sounding, boldly experimental, and year-by-year renewed production. In the current line-up, alongside the two founders, Gábor Leskovics (PUF) and András Lovasi (Kispál and the Borz), Dávid Szesztay, who is now rising to the level of singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist, plays, and Imre Hajba, who will join the team from this year, playing bass, while Ferenc Bajkai plays drums. At the concerts of the 2024 season, the band will present some of the songs from their upcoming new album.
Kiscsillag (Tiny Star) band was formed in spring 2005 by three musicians, who had played together in the Kispl s a Borz band in the early 90-ies. They were joined by Gbor Leskovics (PUF, Kispl). Its a free-time band with no special aims to achieve. Though its nembers havent got much free time, they have been able to put together material for an album in half a year, and then theyll see what will follow.
