A kitchen is a living space - where we cry, have fun, love and redeem the world every day - beyond cooking, beyond baking. The songs of the three-person Kitchen Band also serve as personal space, which opens their doors unobtrusively at the right moment for the student to move in, love, cry, lose and find themselves. Mátyás Szepesi lyricist frontman brings wine to the kitchen from the chambers of the heart, while his companions - Márk Badics drummer and Dániel Haller bass guitarist - choose a variety of ingredients for music: rock, funk and a breath.

In November 2018, their fourth album, "Waiting for Dream," featuring the album's key song, "Hundreds of Times Played," was launched in a featured rotation on Petőfi Radio's wavelength. The song soon came to life on its own, and was taken over by most of the major radio stations and has been played on Youtube more than five million times. It was featured in the DAL 2019 show, where the team reached the semi-finals, while Mátyás Szepesi received the Best Songwriter Award. The summer season brought many concerts, and the Petőfi Music Awards gave another recognition: Mátyás Szepesi received the Lyricist of the Year award from former award-winning artists (Géza Bereményi, Tibor Tátrai, Ferenc Demjén).

The band will be expanded to seven members this time with Gábor Subicz 's brass band, the Kitchen Heatblowers (other members: Gábor Barbinek - trombone, János Ávéd - saxophone, flute) and Dániel Szebényi keyboardist who also received the Petőfi Music Prize.
