Korál Tribute Band - 5-year anniversary with guests

Five years ago this year, in the spring of 2019, guitarist Sándor Lakatos' old dream came true: he formed the Korál Tribute Band. Before his death in November 2020 and despite the fact that he did not perform with them, Balázs Fecó could also see and hear the tribute band. But what is important: he admitted. If the legendary author-singer-keyboardist didn't have time, the rhythm section of the "big" Korál - bass guitarist Tibor "Samu" Fekete and ndobos Péter Dorozsmai - made several guest appearances with the band in the early days.
In an interview, Korál's composer-guitarist László Fischer also expressed his opinion about the band: From the Korál Tribute Band, I would like to highlight the founder Sándor "Alex" Lakatos, who plays the guitar very well, is committed to the music of the Korál, and approaches the songs with sufficient humility, cherishing our musical heritage. Their singer is the same Kiss Zoli, who also sang in my Korál Forever Band, and even performed several times with the great Korál in the last days before Fecó's death."
Despite the fact that the 2020 coronavirus epidemic set back the formation that started with great enthusiasm, the period that has passed since then has brought a good number of performances to the Korál Tribute Band: welcome guests from here on our borders, or in Hungarian-inhabited areas of the Highlands; their concerts usually end with frenetic success. Which is not surprising in the light of the fact that Zoltán Kiss's vocal voice and performance style evoke Balázs Fecó's organ up until the sound, the guitar solos of Sándor "Alex" Lakatos excellently counterbalance or even complement the lyrics of the emblematic songs; the rhythm section formed by László Tornyossy (bass) - Péter Laskay (drums) provides an excellent basis for all of this. But there can be no complaints about János Téglás either, who stands up well behind his serious keyboard park.
After such antecedents, the orchestra thought it would like to celebrate the five-year anniversary in a place and in a way worthy of the memory of Balázs Fecó and the Korál. The ship A38 was found to be the most suitable for commemorating and recalling the legendary songs, where their former singer János Fekete "Jacsa" will take the microphone as a guest, but some musicians from the Balázs Fecó Band and the former Korál Forever band will also perform. In addition, they managed to win a real star guest for the commemoration: Tamás Takats, the frontman of Karthago and the Blues Band marked by his own name, will also help recall the Korál's most memorable and well-known songs.
