Muzsik és Volkova

Muzsik and Volkova duo are a Hungarian-Russian songwriting brother and sister. They come from the eastern peaks of Hungary, Záhony. They have been playing together for more than 10 years, and the duo Muzsik and Volkova were formed in 2016.
Their music is characterized by an indie-tailed / acoustic sound world, which they called greengrass. In their Hungarian lyrics, personality as well as social reflection dominate. Russian arrangements also often appear in their repertoire.
In July 2017, they won the professional jury award of the Veszprém Street Music Festival, and Volkova won the special award of the festival's competitors. In the spring of 2018, they joined the 12 award-winning bands of the Simple Lemming Program, and then, as a guest of the Balázs Szabó Band, they toured the country in a 24-station tour.
This spring, their first poem music, entitled Dancing the Moon, was released, based on 2 poems by Sándor Weöres.
