Nosaj Thing, or Los Angeles-born Jason Chung, has been actively releasing music and performing as a DJ and producer for over 15 years, starting with his first gigs at DTLA's DIY venue The Smell in the early 2000s. From headlining performances by The xx and Weeknd, to headline production of sensational events with visual collabs such as Bureau Cool and Daito Manabe.
Having co-produced tracks by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi and Juliana Barwick, Nosaj Thing has worked with artists spanning generations, including Philip Glass, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Flying Lotus. However, Nosaj Thing goes beyond genres and inspirations in its EPs and albums, pushing experimental music into an otherworldly, atmospheric and robust body of work: Views / Octopus EP (2006), Drift (2009), Home (2013), Fated (2015). , No Reality EP (2016), Parallels (2017) and No Mind (2020).
After founding Timetable Records in 2013, the multidisciplinary artist has created music for films, fashion shows and art installations. In 2020, Chung signed with LUCKYME Records, with which he released his latest album, Continua, in the fall of 2022.
