Deck - New Faces Aboard: Ineffable, Miriám Sánta, Tímea Shrek

  • Jazz

First volume poets and novelists along with great fusion jazz musicians will be featured on the next night of the Deck - New Faces Aboard series.

Timea Shrek has been working with disabled children for many years in Beregszász. Her novel titled Dead Earth is inspired by the fates known here, and her short stories are not only disturbing but also of sociographic depth.

Poet, writer and literary translator Sánta Miriam has been publishing in various literary-art magazines and portals since 2015. Her first volume of poems was published in 2019, titled Dying on Monday, which speaks to the ghosts of the past and the ghosts of the future in the present, in ever greater numbers, from the little girl facing the wall to the collective unconscious.

Ineffable music expresses the unspeakable. The repertoire of the band formed in 2016 includes well-known fusion jazz sompositions as well as their own songs. Last year was very busy for them for they played at Babel Sound and JazzTM festivals and released their first album titled NEON.

The organizers and editors of the evening are SoundCam Productions and Anita Szente from PIM.

Fresh sounds, crisp text and really good faces at the ship's roof terrace. Who are they? First-volume authors - a writer and a poet, a blasting band, and an act...
