8 pm - 9 pm Re: Kányádi
1) "Macht nichts said it is The Day of the Dead" - Approaches to Sándor Kányádi's The Day of the Dead in Vienna poem. With this title were published the diaries of 15 literary scholars and writers, an unusual analysis and commentary on the emblematic poem by Sándor Kányádi. 1 verse, 15 worlds, 15 approaches, different generations from both sides of the border - in 1 book. The writings of the book seek answers to the question of how today's reader can engage in a successful dialogue with a poem that is both fragile, fragmented, from the both sides of the iron curtain, and at the same time encyclopedic and universal.
The book will be presentated by Ágnes Gálfalvi and Tamás Korpa.
2) "I said nothing but an off-road vehicle" - poems by Sándor Kányádi performed by the artists of the Nézőművészeti Kft. A 45-minute dramatized reading of Sándor Kányádi's well-known and mostly lesser-known poetry, which portrays with aesthetic power the fluid relationship between individual and power, the dictatorship's day-to-day life, and the possibilities of subjugation and resistance. Selection is also an exciting retelling of poetry, full of poetic surprises.
Featuring: actors of the Nézőművészeti Kft.
Fresh sounds, crisp text and really good faces at the ship's roof terrace. Who are they? First-volume authors - a writer and a poet, a blasting band, and an act...
