Finally the former drummer of Opeth! - legendary Swedish progressive metal band - Martin Lopez will end the summer festival tour in order to introduce his great new band Soen in the club atmosphere at the A38 Ship Concert Hall with their new album titled Lotus.
Although many people like to refer to it as a supergroup, Soen is a creative collective rather than a sensationalist band: we have no proof of this, as we had to wait six years for the first sign of the band that was founded in 2004. The band, that is influenced by the Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, and Muse led by Martin Lopez. Of course, in the past seven years, several members of the ensemble that have released four albums have been changing - not only the publishers, but also the most important players in the progressive rock / metal scene each time - but the fragility and diversity of their own sound is even stronger due to the new members. 2019 will be the first year when Soen has been actively touring as a full-fledged band, and after the spring album tour, Budapest will be one of the most exciting progressive metal bands target in summer: Soen will give their first Hungarian concert on August 28 at the A38 Ship Concert Hall .
