The Colibris, Ditch Days (PT)

The Colibris
The Colibris was launched in Budapest, 2018, by the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Máté Németh, supplemented with other three musicians, namely Benedek Bánáti on piano, Balázs Koncz on lead guitar and Kristóf Németh on drums. The band found their meeting point drawing on influences ranging from rock & roll, country, and surf to indie, alternative and dream pop. Musically, their aim is to alloy vintage sounds, and instrumentation with modern pop solutions, carrying a melancholic taste. Their close-knit pictorial vision, inspired by sunset drives, romance, and other aesthetic artistic features, helps to create in their listeners nostalgic feelings mixed with their current state of mind.
Ditch Days (PT)
After a fast emergence into the Portuguese indie scene with their debut reverb-drenched studio album “Liquid Springs”, the Canadian/Portuguese band spent the following years touring Europe and releasing sharp one-off singles that would captivate the attention of listeners around the world.
In 2022, the band released their sophomore album “Blossom”, a collection of pop-infused songs composed between Lisbon, the Azores islands and Geneva. Now, they’re ready to present Blossom in European venues, and fill the stage with sing-along guitars, embracing synths and head-shaking grooves.
