The Trousers - album release, Jackmans, Hallucinatorz

The garage rock/hard rock band from Budapest, which has existed since 2005, will release its sixth album this autumn.
The band last appeared in 2018 with a complete LP material; as usual, "Invisible Darkness" successfully toured the Central European club scene (Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia) in addition to domestic clubs and festivals.
The band's first album came out in 2008, and the even more indie-sounding "Blood for you" became a radio hit. However, The Trousers' true sound was found in 2010's "Soul Machine". he found it on his second record, while the third, 2013 disc "Freakbeat" already received a Phonogram nomination and featured a guest appearance by Nicke Andersson, singer-guitarist of the legendary Swedish Hellacopters.
This record, together with the subsequent "Mother of Illusion" (2015) and the already mentioned "Invisible Darkness", received extremely good reviews in the domestic and international trade press, and ensured the band a permanent place in the Central European club scene. . Over the years, The Trousers performed in front of many domestic (Tankcsapda, Junkies) and international (Black Stone Cherry, MC50, Peter Hook & The Lights, Atomic Bitchwax, Barb Wire Dolls, Konflikt) stars with great success.
They started recording the songs for the now-released album in the winter of 2019 with their former drummer and permanent sound engineer, Zoltán Cs. Szabó, at the Artist Factory in Budapest, but due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the completion of the recordings had to be postponed until this year. In the meantime, three preliminary singles/video clips have been released since last fall, and the band (Zoltán Kőváry – vocals, guitar; Péter Locke – guitar; András Lázár – bass guitar; Samu Antal Gulyás – drums) has also returned to concerts.
The album produced by the Music Fashion publishing house features backing vocals by singer Rita Csányi (The Anahit) and keyboardist Zsolt Derecsekei (The Bits), and the album by the songwriter-frontman, Zoli Kőváry, whose older brother Péter Kőváry (The Royal Rebels) died this summer due to illness , Stoned, Neo) was dedicated to his memory. By the way, Péter also appears on the record as a co-author, since the heralding single, "My kind of business" c. some parts of the song are associated with his name.
During the evening, two excellent garage-rock bands from Budapest, Jackmans and Hallucinatorz, will perform as guest bands.
