The Trousers is a Budapest hard rock/garage rock band that has existed since 2005, its members are Zoltán Kőváry (vocals, guitar), Péter Locke (guitar), András Lázár (bass guitar), Samu Antal Gulyás (drums). Their music was mostly influenced by the hard music of the 70s and the garage rock of Hellacopters, a hallmark of the 2000s. During their career, they have released six LPs so far; since 2013's "Freakbeat" - made with a guest appearance by Hellacopters boss Nicke Andersson - the international underground rock media has also covered their material. Their 2022 record 'Animal Gun' - also released in 2023 by Lithuania-based Sliptrick Records - 10/9 from Hammerworld, 10/8 from Denmark's Metallized and Germany's Ox Fanzine, 10/10 from Italy's Rock Hard / was rated 7 points. In addition to domestic clubs and festivals, the ensemble regularly performs on the stages of Central European countries, such as Germany, Austria, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. They have already performed in front of several major bands, such as Black Stone Cherry (USA), Atomic Bitchwax (USA), MC5 (USA), Honky (USA), Peter Pan Speedrock (NL), Peter Hook & The Lights
(USA), The Blue Van (DK), Barb Wire Dolls (GR), Junkies and Tanktrap.
