Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats is an English doom metal/heavy metal/occult rock/psychedelic rock band formed in 2009 in Cambridge. They got their name from Cactus singer Rusty Day's band (Uncle Acid and the Permanent Damage). Metal Blade Records' official website compared them to Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath and The Stooges, and Allmusic's website compared the band's music to The Beatles and Charles Manson.
