The Wall of Sleep band was formed in 2001 after its predecessor, the now cult-status Mood. The engine of the team is Mood guitarist Sándor Füleki, who joined the well -known figures of the Hungarian Metal Underground. Their initial style was determined by Doom Metal, usual from the previous band, which also featured the effects of large international role models (Black Sabbath, Trouble). Later, after a member exchange, the Wall of Sleep's music palette has been expanded with further colors, with their last album the classic hard rock and metal are at least as prominent as the initial Doom and Sludge.
Recognized in the Hungarian and international underground, the 2018 album, The Road Through The Never, finished first on the Hammerworld magazine leaderboard, with much larger foreign releases behind. The continuation of the album is still being prepared, while the band appears at unique concerts and festivals.
