One of Iceland's most special bands, Sólstafir returns after three years to Budapest! The reformed line up released its firs album this year titled Berdreyminn, which can be regarded as their very best so far: whirling great post-guitar music that is impossible to put in any genre bringing Scandinavian melancoly and folklore. The Greek trio with its own home-made instruments and some electronics builds a dark, moody, deeply vibrant sound, real drone-blown music. Long-lasting cello and bass, electronic modulation, some folk effects: these are the music features of Mohammad (or MMMD), which is somewhere halfway between the subtle, acoustic chamber music and the doom that has drooling.
